Calls a couple of days every week. Several times at once. I have caller display so I don t answer numbers like this 08443760105 How s this harassment legal. Call is a recorded message claiming that taxed is owed to the HMRC, but no name/address or other details are given as to who the call is intended for and that if you don't press 1 to be connected to an advisor immediately, then "a warrant will be issued and you will be arrested" - clearly a phishing scam, as even if HMRC notified people about outstanding tax owed by pre-recorded telephone message (they don't), they certainly don't threaten arrest via recorded message and they usually tend

It s quite easy to negate these types of calls by getting yourself a Call Line Identity phone. If the call doesn t display the name of someone in your tel address book, or shows number withheld, or out of area, or International let the answer machine do the work. You can then block the number or use phone settings to set your preferences - problem solved...

I have been inundated with calls from 01642878714 a couple of times i have answered the phone there was just silence,again today they are at it again ,i no longer answer the phone to this number or to any number that i do not recognize just sick of it altogether these callers need banning

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. Looks like a fake message in the name of the Total Heat UK Ltd asking about which is the best time for you for a Gas safety check BUT the number is actually belong to the Victoria Beauty shop. And they can't even spell the agencies names as they mentioned in the beginning of the message.
