I am so sick of these unsolicited phone calls. How can I stop them?

I get about 3 calls a week from these debts collectors called Capquest. They are silent and harassing calls to do with student loan repayments. Ignore all calls and tell tem to put everything in writing, then you can use the paper as fire starters......job done.

Have had two calls on my mobile from these people, both asking for me by a different name. Then it turned out they claimed I had asked for a quote for car insurance (I don t own a car). So I searched under the number and found these comments. Can ignore them in future.

I ve left a comment as they are now seemingly going from "National Utilities" to "Concept Industries". I ve been called by this number and others today regarding a recent tenancy change at my premises. I ve owned and lived in the property for 7 years! The girl ended up putting the phone down on me after she couldn t wriggle out of a few questions I asked. A load of nonsense. The number looked suspicious, and an on line search suggested that it was a scam call judging by the frequency with which the first 5 digits were used. I did not answer.
