This number called me today - luckily I was on an other call - tried to call back : 'number does not exist'. Likely a dangerous number.

They called again and my phone warned me so I hung up before answering and have blocked the number. I googled the number and no company came up.
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam

Whoever this company are, they have purchased a VERY old database of numbers - they keep asking for the person who was previously assigned my landline number, who has since passed away. When questioned, they hung up. Next time they ring, they'll get the "very loud whistle" treatment !!!!

They said their number was 02032867657. They tried to get me to run something on my computer but I declined. They asked me to run something else to confirm my customer number and I declined again. They said if I didn't comply there'd be a court action against me but I still declined. When they rang off I rang BT straightaway and they confirmed it was not them and they said they would never ask for such a thing.
