Claims to be from MBNA Card Fraud (Automated voice) Asks for a name that is not here and asks for them to call the same number that called us. Has called at least 4 times today. Not MBNA
A recorded voice indicates an outstanding tax issue. Asking you to press 1 to be connected. Failure to do so will result in a warrant for your arrest (on the grounds of tax fraud) being issued. Her Majesty's Inspector of taxes would not phone if there was an issue. They would write to you. They know your address, but fraudsters and scammers like this do not. Do not press to accept the call. if you do they will know the number is in use an probably sell your number on to more scammers.
Phone call everyday from these guys, answer and phone goes dead after a few seconds.

As I already donate to a charity of my choice I do not wish to be bothered by these types of calls. I m also signed up with TPS so shouldn t get them anyway... Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out
