This number keeps calling my elderly mother pretending its about a loan she had. They keep providing her with info like date of birth, asking her to confirm expecting her to provide the correct one. When I ring this number it says it is an old number. My 11 year old was with her when they last called and he said they were very pushy and kept asking her to confirm bank details.

Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow. A man called me from this number and said that I had a car accident in front short and he needed my data for insurance. Since I had really short before a car accident, I asked for more detail. But he could not say how the accident expired or looked like the cars to me. He then said that he would have been not at all involved. He ll call for a friend. They called me told me my name and my postcode. Said that I was happy with my bank and credit cards? I said yes and he then said okay and cut me off. VERY VERY DODGY and cannot call the number back either so concerned how they have my details??

Caller claimed he was ringing back about "refund" but nobody had called him. He also asked for a Mr Stewart - nobody here with that name.
