Man called with bad english telling me they do data collection I was asking where they got my details from, they already had my name and surname and were asking questions such as, what brand my TV is and if I have a sky satellite dish. I kept asking what they want to do with my information so the guy just rudely hung up on me.
SCAM 01614303899 called me at 08:45 left it ringing until the call screening kicked in and they hung up straight away - probably someone else answered the mass calling device that was probably doing the dialling and the called tried to engage that poor unsuspecting victim. Typical nuisance call.

These people keep phoning claiming they are the support for my internet providers. How do I get rid of them? I ask them which IP since I have 3, one of which is a bank, and I have 3 modems in my house. That normally makes them swear at me and hang up. The other method is to ask them which IP they are calling about, and when they say one, true or not, I say that the account is set up with a security word and they must confirm that before I can talk to them. They swear and hang up. They are always from India,
Claims to be a debt collection agency on behalf of Paypal (Yes I do have an ongoing dispute with Paypal), Google seems to support this fact. However after he asked me to confirm security details, I told him no - and I will only discuss/deal with Paypal direct. He told me I d receive a letter and email from them, again I said unless it comes from Paypal - I ain t dealing with you. Caller hung up.

I have had 3 calls from this number all claiming to BT and requesting I log in for a variety of reasons, first I had a problem with the internet, Secondly they put the phone down when I took the phone from the missus and today apparently my internet was going to be cut off in 3 days. They put the phone down when I requested they tell me what my IP address was. Can t think why. Do not under any circumstances allow them remote access!!!

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. I ve had seven calls in ten days.... Very aggressive staff telling me I ve filled in a survey and requested they help me with their Money saving solutions. Told them I don t do surveys, I have no debts and won t be needing their services, so don t bother calling again as I won t answer but they still rang five more times!
