Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. Fraud SCAM: We’ve been speaking to BT about this and they confirmed the call was indeed a scam. A spokesperson from BT us, “We’ll never call a customer to tell them their router or IP address has been compromised or ask for any personal information, including bank details unexpectedly and we’ll never call from an ‘unknown’ number.

A lady with a heavy sub-continent voice called Patricia alleges she is from the non-existent National Repayment Department. She asks for personal details, before asking for your bank details. A company who's email doesn't exist and address that doesn't either. Reckon I've signed up for Body and Mind Rewards, which I haven't and have a few weeks to cancel, which you cannot as email bounces back.

SCAM - Pretending to be Microsoft and they download Anydesk on your PC, run some commands and show you the "threats" on your PC. They then run something that shows banking details and they direct you to go to your online banking so they can assist in fixing your security with your banking. (I am in IT and an elderly customer got tricked by this).

Caller claimed to be representing blockchain.com claiming I had an account with them containing about £4,000.00 (I know that I have never had anything to do with cryptocurrency). I told them I knew this was a scam. They wouldn't stop pushing, so I played along a little. They then asked me to download Teamviewer. So they were either likely going to lock me out of my computer or attempt to steal my passwords. I gave the guy a serious roasting and hung up.

Scam mobile number. After i made a flight booking through OPODO i immediately get a txt message saying my credit card was declined and i was to answer YES to stop future declined. Unfortunately i did reply YES. So this could mean they will use my number for future scam attempts. I already checked my phone for any malware (avg scan). Anything else i should do? (already checked bank account no dodgy transactions yet)
