WHEN will these B*STARDS GIVE UP?! Had FOUR PHISHING SCAM attempts over a few days All similar numbers-preceded by a scam e mail attempt! They’ve tried EVERY guise/EVERY organisation you can think of under the sun! I REPORT EVERY SINGLE TIME TO COMPANY THEY PRETEND TO BE FROM/ACTION FRAUD AND ICO AND ON ALL THESE FORUMS AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO! Received a recorded message alledgedly from the National Crime Squad Agency advising that my National Insurance Number had been involved in fraudulent activities - press 1 to speak to an officer....... As it has come from a mobile number I doubt very much this is legit so will follow this up with the Gov website & correct channels.

Classic This person or company said they were from 02 but they were very AGGRESSIVE and I would be very concerned for anyone who gets a call from them. Be very careful. When I said I was not interested, they got very defensive and started to fight back! Not something 02 would do! Warning, be very careful it's bound to be a SCAM! JS2/11
SCAM 01614303899 called me at 08:45 left it ringing until the call screening kicked in and they hung up straight away - probably someone else answered the mass calling device that was probably doing the dialling and the called tried to engage that poor unsuspecting victim. Typical nuisance call.

The guy I m working with also got a call from this number a couple of days ago, how have they got hold of both our numbers as we have no connection apart from we are working at the same house at the moment, he also lives in Southampton so isn t even local and not on any local databases???

The PEST is: Domestic & General :( They are a cold-calling pest phishing for new Loft Insulation contracts. I have automated calls on a daily basis for 2 months now - 3 rings and they hang up - never leaving a message. I wish the government would provide the regulators with some teeth to prosecute all these highly persistent phone pests making MULTIPLE nuisance calls. I changed my number relatively recently to avoid this, and I m ex-directory and I ve "opted out" so they should check before they call.

SCAM Didn't actually receive a call, but an advertising card popped through my door today offering part-time work delivering leaflets. Good money paid, apparently. The email address shown was 'bakoos.in' suggesting that it was based in India, however it appears to be a Russian phone number! The Royal Mail's website cannot find any reference to the phone number, so to my mind it is a serious attempt at a scam and is best avoided.
Called and asked for someone else. I said no sorry its wrong number, then he said you don't know anyone called this name? I said no and he said something else and hung up. Weird.
