Rang twice and hung up. I saw it was a premium number so did not answer. The best way to notice a scam call is when the caller asks for you by surname (which they cannot pronounce) probably because the forename is not mentioned in the records as they see them. Then scammers ALWAYS ask how you are, which is often when they try pulling up more details from the records.

PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.....When I answered several months ago the "indian" sounding lady at the other end simply said "we are coming to your house this evening to kill you...what do you think about that?".....I put the phone down...THE POLICE are totally helpless in cases like this...apparently this company is NOT breaking any laws!!!...DO NOT ANSWER....they rang me again today which went unanswered...which proves their stupidity...but then it comes as not surprise!

Received a call, foreign voice said ringing about accident I d had. They managed to get my name, address and accident details and sent me an email which they wanted me to open and click on the attachment to provide authority for them to send out documents for me to claim compensation. I told them I didn t need to claim compensation as only very minor whip lash, however they were very insistent saying that didn t matter and I was entitled to £3000 compensation. This is the first call from this number, it s a premium rate number, if the call is important they would leave a voicemail but they didn t, it s possible it s for ppi or some other cold caller, if it calls again I will block it but won t answer it.

Eventually had about 5 calls a day from this number. never answered as my caller id said it was from jersey otherwise I would ve picked up a mobile number. rang them a few times before only for it to be cut straight off. eventually got through, threatened them with personal harassment and dealing with contacting me using unsolicited information. asked them to remove me off their system as politely as possible. fingers crossed that s all.

Recorded message purporting to be from Amazon. Apparently someone placed an order for an iPhone 12 on my account (the bold- faced cheek of some people, eh?) and somehow Amazon found this to be suspicious (probably because me and Jeff are really big buddies!) and wanted me to address it as they didn't want me to be out of pocket (to anyone other than themselves no doubt!). If I hadn't hung up, they'd have been asking for all kinds of personal detail of my account. But I hung up before they asked.
Ignorant bunch of bastards.They put the phone down on me whilst I was asking them politely to take my number off.

SCAM Fortunately, I have TruCaller home phone so pushed it straight to the "waiting" queue and as they didn't leave a message or say who was calling did not route through to the actaual phone ring. I already had this number blocked on my Mobile and in Malwarebytes as it claimed to be from BT saying there was a problem with my broadband... when I mentioned that I worked for BT as a fault engineer they immediately hung up :)
Was suspicious so didn't answer.
