This number called me and it turned out to be Southampton Audi arranging an MOT. It was odd that it showed up as as a Portsmouth area code though, maybe they use a call center now.

I was called by this number today and I hung up as it's spam, to be called straight back by the same guy who said "how dare you hang up on me, I'm going to come to your house and f**k you and rape you" stay clear of this number!
The caller, Liam, claimed to be from Premier Rewards ... wanting to give me some money! Like, yeah!! I consider this to be a 'SPAM' call and potentially dangerous. The caller kept interrupting me - a known tactic from SPAM callers! My suggestion to anyone is to just Hang Up!

SCAM - phoned with recorded message about my NI being used fraudulently, then please hold for an officer.....then a foreign man answered said he is from the national fraud division...after me asking him a couple of pinpoint questions he hung up. Turns out the number is a vodafone mobile number.

Fraud. Says they are M&S bank and your card is compromised. Try to get you to click links to “cancel” payments, but what you are really doing is authorising cryptocurrency payments. Very clever. Phone looks like an old M&S helpline number.

When calling back the number to find out who it is caller systems will say number not found or will take you back to the dial tone.
Missed call - Would say is unsolicited call. Did not recognise the number. When looked up it’s not connected to any company, personally I’m not waiting for a phone a call from Manchester as I’m from a different area in the UK. No reason call me and no voicemail or message left. Saw on different website it would cost to call back.

I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.
