Possible SCAM / SPAM 01983443588 This number called my landline and When I answered nobody spoke at the other end and they hung up. I called the number back on my mobile phone for a recored message telling me "you have dialled a incorrect number"

Irish lad said he was calling about my frozen pension. i played along and made up stuff about a fictitious pension which he VERIFIED. When said I was just digging out the file to get the pension reference number he hung up, l am a pension administrator so can baffle them with terminology. Proves these calls are a scam.
BEWARE...I rang this number thinking it was my local Nat West branch. I just wanted to transfer some money but this was their call centre and I was charged the princely sum of £4.43 on my phone bill for the privilege. Part of this goes to Bt and the rest to Nat West. Never again.

At first I got quite scared when I started getting these calls. I have read a lot about telephone scams where they want to extract your financial data (Net banking PIN, Credit card details etc.) in the name of survey. For this reason I started declining calls from this number. Searching for the owner of this number on the web, I found out that this number belongs to a legitimate lead generation and lifestyle survey company named Simply Outbound. Showed up as international call and the voice was a transatlantic male one. He sounded like a recording even though he wasn't, and was very slick - when I corrected him for addressing me by my husband's name he said he was 'a little dyslexic' to try to wrong-foot me. He tried to tell me about a door and window replacement scheme. As he knew my address I asked him to write to me about it - of course he won't!

Tells me I have been identified has having and industrial injury and wants to act on my behalf. I have never had such an injury. The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. I received an automated voice call from this number, telling me that they were from my Internet provider and my Internet services will be disconnected due to illegal use. They requested me to "press 1 to speak to an advisor" but I hung up. I then returned the call from my landline and received an automated reply telling me that nobody was available to take my call.
