Weird. When I answered, a recorded message said that the caller is unable to take your call. I don t know if it is genuine or a scam but I have never had this happen before.

iv had txts n calls from this number claiming to be B&Q, dont know where they got my number from, i never answer the phone to these scams!!

It was an automated call and they claimed to be calling me about a car crash I was supposedly involved in. Needless to say, I have not been involved in an accident. Typical scum cold callers.
Just been called by this number to inform me my emails are being used by someone in the usa and if I follow his instructions through my computer we can solve this together. Bloody nice chap! However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks. Scam mobile number. After i made a flight booking through OPODO i immediately get a txt message saying my credit card was declined and i was to answer YES to stop future declined. Unfortunately i did reply YES. So this could mean they will use my number for future scam attempts. I already checked my phone for any malware (avg scan). Anything else i should do? (already checked bank account no dodgy transactions yet)

Claimed to be ringing about solar panels but the quality of the voice and the pauses before answering my questions made me think I was talking to some sort of AI device on a computer. After I asked several questions it rang off.
Had a call from a this number saying it was regarding an accident I had. Not had one, they then hung up.
Scam. Some distant partner with EE. With trick you into a new contract which EE can t cancel. Avoid and block.
I was cold called and told that as I was under 65 and drawing a deferred company pension I was entitled to a £1,000 pound payment. I asked who this was calling and all they would say was The helpline . I told them that I was registered with Telephone Preferences and that I should not receive such calls. I further told them to remove my name from their database.

This number called me today saying with an automated message that there was a fraudulent charge for a US gambling site and if I wanted to no more I was to press one. 100% SCAM DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!! The bank would never phone u with an automated call and not identify themselves and ask u to press numbers like this. This is so they can get access to ur details. These people r TOTAL SCUM. Be safe everyone.
