HMRC Scam - automated voice clicked in quite quickly when I 'answered' the call. I didn't speak but simply ended the call and blocked future calls.
It was automated say there from tax /hmrc and I was a doing tax fraud ????????

Calling persistently for a person who has never ever lived at this address ( at least not in the past 20 years! ). When I tell the indian call centre person this, as I do on each call, they then ask for the road or street number, which I decline to give them as they should know the details of the person they are calling for.

On returning this call it was an automated response saying that as my phone contract was due to expire shortly they could offer info. on new handsets etc. Press 1 to remove from their database, 2 to speak to someone. On entering 1 you are requested to enter your no. then the hash tag. Upon doing this the line went dead. Hopefully I won t now start receiveing lots of Spam!

Within minutes of getting a nuisance call on the spare mobile telephone I do not use I received this call on my landline, a recorded voice telling me it was the last time they would be trying to contact me - but I have had the SAME MESSAGE many times! Calling saying they were from Currys / PC World , accent suggested Indian caller, Currys / PC World do not have permission to call me - caller hung up when challenged on this. I suspect it was a scam call (your PC is infected with a virus type scam)
