Claimed to be Chris from the “Green Energy Centre” - claimed that he got my number from the “Renewable Energy Database” - and that it was showing that my loft still had old-style insulation. When challenged that we don’t have a loft, and could I please have a URL to confirm the company, he hung up,.
I did not respond, but checked the dialling code and found that it did not exist. Clearly a scammer.
Comes up as International call but on investigation is a number from Alford uk.. obvious scam.

8 AM this morning, automated call claiming to be "bank security" - went on to tell me my card had been used twice today - obvious scam as I use a building society wanted me to press a number to connect with their "helpline" - I hung up.
Fraud, claims to be calling from sky regarding my broadband, claims my router is sending them some sort of warning that there's a fault they need to fix. I'm not with sky, they didn't know who I was, it's a scam trying to get money out of you to fix your broadband. I have had numerous calls from these people and when I tried to question them and they realised I was suspicious they put the phone down. Do not engage with these con artists.

Negative, this caller claimed to be from B.T open reach then gave the usual nonsense about problems with my internet.

Fraud - this number called my wife and said there was a problem with her National Insurance number urging her to press 1 immediately. It claimed that if she didn't she maybe arrested, which is nonsense. A deeply nasty fraudster, clearly. She hung up.
