Namely it solicits the person receiving the call to press 1 on their phones to seek help in avoiding Internet cut off within a timeslot of 4hrs usually. Needless to say there is no real problem pending and by pressing 1 the unwary may be frightened into giving bank details eg to pay delivery charge for new router. PLEASE HANG UP. SCAM / SPAM HMRC calling for a fraud under my name. A recorded voice says ''you HAVE to press 1'' to speak with an operator. I didn't press 1 but I assume it's scam because it's not the first time I received a call like this.

Empty call yesterday - prob checking to see if my number is valid. Have received a couple of scam text msgs today.
SCAM, he said his name was Adam Scott from Microsoft telling me my computer was at risk, giving me specific codes for my computer and saying I needed to turn it on.... My laptop takes 20 mins to start up and when I said this to him he said don't worry it won't take long... I think the longer your on call with these guys the worse it can get
