Fraud. A person claiming they are calling form CarPhone. Trying to sell me a new mobile plan with 40% discount. They could answer a my question if they are want me to switch my provider or they have a deal from my own mobile provider. They also didn't know who my provider is but wanted me to tell then. Automated message supposedly to be from my bank about charges to my account, the first for £700. I hung up as sure it's a scam. My bank doesn't contact me this way, or in this manner. Double checked and all is fine. My bank has been very good so far at spotting fraudulent debits. This looked like a local number so it could appear legitimate. I expect there was a number to press to connect with scammer. Despicable people.

Scam alert. Claim to be from company called Fair trading. Say thrybhave good news with regards to refund owed for shares stuck in trading account. They seem to have your name from somewhere as use it at start. Looking to get your details and take your money.

Call centre pretending to be from amazon asking if I placed an order for 49.99. Hung up when I said, this is a scam call.

Received a scam text message from this number late at night reading: "Hey mum, using friends phone cos my screen broke. can u msg my temp number on whats app 07379573194 x" I also then received another text saying "hi" from 07597207752, which I know also send the same text message above.

SCAM. I get two phone calls every day, and have done for a year. The number is different every time, but the organisation is the same. They appear to have a spoof number system that hides the actual number they call from.

It is an automatic voice that claims to be from "your bank" saying it has suspicious activity - asking you to click a button to verify or speak to someone. I hung up. I presume it's a scam as it doesn't say which bank, and the transactions I don't recognise (and we haven't lost our card etc.) Fraud Banking

Smooth talking guy, asked for me by name. Wanted to talk to me regards my BT bill. I asked him what the problem was. He said no problem, I am your BT agent and could do a better deal. I said to him "but you aren't BT are you" and he told me he was authorised, had a number etc etc. Didn't seem too pleased when I said to him "You are not BT you are JTalk and hung up. Rang back but I let it ring out. Don't need to do business with a liar.

This number called me 9.12.2022 told me it was BT and advised other people were using my internet connection and were doing so for bad purposes. Wanted me to turn on my computer so they could sort it out and stop the problem.

Purporting to be bank security calling about an Amazon transaction and an International transaction. Calls 3/4 times a day using various local numbers.

Called my child's phone number at 1am GMT. We do not know anyone or have any connection with Sri Lanka at all. Scam call I would imagine.
