Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow. Asian male very polite saying he was calling from Sky and asked if my Sky was working correctly, I said Yes he said OK thank you and hung up.
Calls repeatedly, no speech then hangs up after a few seconds. Looks like a local number, but starts with a 4 not a 6, so very suspicious.

Automated voice said there was a tax fraud enquiry against me and that if I did not press 1 to speak to an operator a warrant would shortly be issued for my arrest. I'm jobless. Lol
Received missed call at 18:50 which in itself is strange for a business. When I called it back there was a Click, and then a holding Jingle music started playing, as if I'd been transferred to another line. I ended the call after about 10secs. I would consider it spam

ANY call about your computer, broadband, router, viruses, hacked IP address, etc., will ALWAYS be a scam. Block the number on your phone. For a mobile, refer to the manufacturer...

It s the right format to be a UK mobile number but there s no sure way of finding out whose it is as many mobiles are unregistered PAYG.
Another call from 0121 285 9455 even though I am on TPS and the Do Not Call Registry. These people are obviously not checking these lists. They are a nuisance.

I have stopped answering these suspicious calls for the time being - too busy. As with the one I received at the same time yesterday, when I was having breakfast, I concluded the caller was another criminal trying to persuade me to give them access to my computer so they could infect it. That is because the majority of the calls I get are of that nature. The likelihood was all the greater because, like yesterday s call, it was purportedly from an area where I do not know anyone.
