Market research They called AGAIN today - 10th Jan 2013 This is a guy that phones on a regular basis, with kids screaming in the background, and a television blaring at the same time. In his south scottish accent, he tries to calmly spurt out the "hello, I m so and so and doing some market research". By this time, I ve hung up.

Clive, Peter, Brian Stephen etc are NOT popular names in India as these people would have you believe. The bottom line is a simple one, if you don’t recognise the number, don’t answer. Was cold-called by this no 11.37 today , Monday 2nd July 2018. I put the phone down on them.
This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with prepaid meters, just another call center...
