The caller gave this number saying they were from Google about my entry on google maps and that they were going to help me fix the problem I had to get customers to find me. There s nothing wrong with my entry. So I played along and when asked for my name said it was George Bush. Apparently I should get a call back later today as I said I was too busy. Had a phone number twice from slightly differing numbers but both commencing 07808166. Recorded msg informing me that my NI number has been compromised and to key 1 before legal proceedings are taken against me!!! Needless to say I just hung up - has anyone else received these calls?

Very fishy number. They called me but the person on the phone was a recorded message telling me to call them back. It also said if I disregarded the message I could face legal consequences. Surely, if it was that serious, a real person would be talking to me and not some recorded message. Based on the other review of that number, I won’t be called back.

This company sends you text messages saying you are owed an amount in thousands due to payment protection mis-selling. If you reply you get a voice mail saying ring this number. When you do you ll find the amount claimed to be due to you is non-existent. It s just a ploy to get you there.
