Location says Trafalgar Square London but possible rerouted there from Indian scam call centres. Each time I order from Amazon I have scammers try to steal my cash! Scam National Insurance Scam saying NI number has been compromised. Automated message, no doubt wanting the victim of the call to press one to be connected to scammers. I put the phone down when I heard the message and cut off the call. Having seen resent warnings about this scam, I was already aware of it. Don't act on the call and hang up. 4th March 2022 Called on my friends phone but hung up when I answered. My friend died three months ago and as executer for his estate I have his phone. Call log shows they also called on 22nd Feb 2022 but no message left so the number has been active for at least two weeks.

Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn t persuading me.
Called at 10:40ish, didn’t speak at all. I hung up.
Claimed to be a Michael from BT Telecom informing me that there was an issue with my router. I was suspicious of this caller as I had experienced no problems with by broadband or router. I terminated this call.
