Just received a call from these people claiming to be providing access to some sort of discount club and that they would send a welcome pack in the post. They asked how many holidays I have a year and whether they are abroad or not (in hindsight maybe that’s to determine disposable income). They asked who I bank with and I refused to answer. very dodgy! I have had several missed calls so when I answered a guy with a northern accent asked for myself (although had my maiden name and I have been married for 6years!) then he said he was calling regarding my insurance up for renewal and asked if that was correct... there was something very dodgy about this guy though as he kept repeating himself and was also laughing!!! I just apologised and said I was at work and cut him off. I have since blocked the number!

They called me with an automated message at 3:53 a.m. Needless to say I am not a fan.

Have had a call every lunchtime from 15/08/2016 to date (17/08/2016). Phone on silent so fortunately miss it.

I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

A man called my telephone to ask me to access my computer so he can fix the issue with the internet connection. I had not reported a fault, he was not calling from my provider and used a wrong mame for me. So, I hung up. The following day I discovered that the internet connection on my son s laptop had indeed been disabled! He must have visited a dodgy website but it is worrying that they could retrieve my telephone number from it.
