this Indian woman rang me and for over three minutes told me that she was ringing to prevent any nuisance calls to my number in the future. I told her she was being a nuisance.... and she kept telling me that she was from the anti nuisance call line of the UK... that was the extent of the conversation. Felt like it was a Bart Simpson style prank call.

Car Accident telemarketing. They claim to have been told about a car accident - which is untrue.

Claiming to be from Citizens Advice who apparently have been informed about my outstanding debt status. Is this not a gross breach of one of the 8 principles of the Data Protection Act? Scum caller, and yes i meant to write scum.

Sounded like an Indian Call Centre saying they were calling regarding my computer. I told them I knew it was a scam and asked them not to call again. They called back again immediately insisting it was not a scam. I hung up and googled the number then found this site.

Every couple of days the Green Deals Advice Line leaves a message. Today I called them back, told them we were with TPS and asked them to stop. The loser on the other end just hung up on me. When I 1471 d him the number that came up was 01313324913.

21 Oct 2021 - This call left a message stating my National Insurance number was under fraud investigation and would be blocked and any assets frozen unless I press 1 and speak to an advisor. My advice would be if anyone even thought it was real to call HMRC first and speak to real authorities.Reply

"Had an accident?" type of nuisance call.

Caller claiming to be from Microsoft Yahoo wanted to check something relating to my Yahoo Local business listing that required I was at a computer. I m out of the office so they said they would call back later. Sounds like a scam.

Reported to ofcom and trading standards. 10 calls in two days. ?Mortgage Advice Service?. Tried to tell me that I need to get a new mortgage right now or I would end up in ?10,000+ worth of debt due to my current mortgage. However I rent my home - I have never had a mortgage, have never even enquires about one, and no intention to get one. Used car warranty company wanting to extend the warranty which came with my recent second hand car purchase.

I got a text from what looked like my bank (Santander), saying a lot of money was being taken from my account. It gave this number 03333443057 to call. I called, and they answered HSBC ! I said I thought I was calling Santander, they said I work for both banks (yeah, right!). I said let me have your name and department, I ll call my bank and ask to be put through to you, at which point they promptly hung up.

These annoying unsolicited phone pests withholding numbers, PPI, Insurance scams /claims need culling now ..... Day and Night on mobile and landline... Can' t they a real J...

Calls then when you pick up and say hello - they hang up. You can call the number back but it s either engaged or a dead tone??? Very strange!!
