I was asked to speak tot he business owner so knew straight away it was a cold call to which I said no thank you and put the phone down. To which the caller rang back and was somewhat aggressive the next time stating that I had put the phone down on him and that he would e-mail my director telling him what I had done then proceeded to hang up on me. Having read the previous comment, there is no surprise why he behaved in this way!

Wish this guy would stop calling. Slurring words, calls early hours of the morning had called on quite a few occasions. Ring number back never answers, what s that all about?!

So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.
