Rude Asian man telling me about a problem with my computer. His supervisor called me back and asked why I had been rude to his staff. I told him that he was rude by saying that he would put a block on my computer and I would have to pay to get it working again. The 3rd call was just shouting at me in a foreign language. Calls 4 and 5 were silent but I could hear the same people in the background.

They called me today asking for my wife, said they had details of a loan she d taken out that had been passed on to them, I pressed for details and they gave some details of a loan she hasn t taken out. She said the company was BPI Claim Line and are part of another company (couldn t make out the name) and they re regulated by the Ministry of Justice. She hung up on me when I pressed her for the company name that they were part of.

This is the first call from this number, it s a premium rate number, if the call is important they would leave a voicemail but they didn t, it s possible it s for ppi or some other cold caller, if it calls again I will block it but won t answer it.
Obvious scam, claiming to be from EE retaining department. If you google the number it comes up as a Noodle bar in London. The guy on the call couldn't stop stumbling over his words when I called him out on things and then laughed at me when I said I knew it was a scam.

lots of calls from Crime Prevention company they will just not give up even trying to con a colleague into saying yes when I have already told them no!!! Had similar experience previously by a different name and they actually only ever printed 12 copies of their newspaper which we had been asked to advertise in! This is how they can seem legal. Went to voicemail so only caught half the message as it was prerecorded, mentioned HMRC... Something about "registered under your name, press 1 and your call will be connected to the officer dealing with the case if you don't press on the warrant will be issued under your name and you will be arrested shortly." Really unnerving! Not like my nerves are not already in tatters dealing with the pandemic and potential job-loss.
