These calls are driving me mad. Every day and sometimes more than once a day I m getting these unsolicited calls. I can t even be rude to an automated caller! Number not recognised when try to return call to request they stop. This is harassment.

I picked the phone up, said hello and then phone was put down on me
SCAM. Call received at around 21:30 hours. Caller asked to speak with me by first name. I did not confirm whether I was the person required, but asked who was calling. She did not answer but repeated her question. When I asked again who was calling, the young sounding woman said 'I'm from Virgin.' I then asked what she wanted with the person for whom she had called and she hung up. A bit later I called the number back and the same woman answered with 'hello!' Definitely not from Virgin. Scammer.

Received call from this number at 12:37 on 8th June 2020: Scam call asking me about the car accident I have been involved in.
I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.

They called my landline at 8.49am (automated at first) pretending to be AMAZON to say I'm about to be charged £39.99 for my AMAZON PRIME subscription which i don't have and have never signed up for, but to cancel it i need to be on my device and they would talk me through it on-line. New numbers like this all the time but: If you have caller ID, get a phone with "night mode" where it only rings for numbers in the stored phone memory.
