Yes, it s another call insisting I ve had a non-fault accident within the last three years. Telling her she couldn t be more wrong obviously wasn t clear, as she pretty much insisted once more that I d had an accident in the last three years. Staying polite with these clowns is getting more difficult with each successive call. I had to hang up on her as she was being particularly thick.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. The polite man with a Middlesbrough accent said my name was on the database and that it was possible that I was due money back from finance or credit in the past 10 years. Knowing that I have never had any insurance or anything connected to loans etc, I knew he was just fishing - so suggested this and he put the phone down. How he got my number is a mystery

This number left me a voicemail saying they were calling from Inland Revenue and to ring them back. If I did not ring back I should expect legal action. Definitely a scam

My mother-in-law has just found a charge for ?99.99 on her Barclays statement. I ve just spoken to the bank and they have been 100% helpful and have agreed to refund her ASAP. When mum-in-law initialy went into the bank to query the transaction they told her that it was a holiday company and assisted her to call them. This number called my Portuguese phone number asking to confirm if I was Carmo Silva, insisted with it which I confirmed, and hung up after it without telling me why the call and how he obtained my number.
