Called late Sunday evening. Our VOIP phone not currently working, but a blank message was left on my message service & got sent to my email, together with record of dialling number. No idea who s behind the call.

This was a recorded message to say illegal activity had been on my internet which would be cut off in 24 hours. I was to press 1 to speak to someone. Clearly an attempt to get into my computer so cut it off.

When I stopped the call and tried using 1471, the tape was still running and over ran the call I was trying to make.

I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. Company wanting to renew the call blocking services you never knew you had (and, of course, confirm your bank details).

PPI claim company, said they got our details from a lifestyle survey but we never participate in these to avoid unwanted calls. Clearly lying, and from the number of people complaining I hope we ll see TPS/ICO take action and fine them.

Repeat calls regarding alleged motor accidents that simply haven t taken place. Repeat calls dispite being told in no uncertain terms to never call me again.

They call on a regular basis trying to say that I can claim on mis-sold insurance, loans and credit cards. I think there really a debt collection agency trying to confirm your identity and getting you to confirm old debts. TOTAL PARRASITES, DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM.
