I have received 3 calls per day, from various numbers across the UK, following an accident in November (6 months). They all know my registration number, and date of accident, enough to pretend they are working on behalf of my insurer. THEY ARE NOT!
There were no less than five calls from this number while I was out. I did not need to be told it was the criminals pestering me again as I have had so many of them. Allegedly Vodafone ringing me to give me a 40% discount on my bill for 12 months. I don't use Vodafone. I use ASDA, so they use Vodafone as the signal, but I have no dealings or bills with Vodafone. So clearly a scam.

A chap called Chris phoned, stating to be from The Green Eco Company. After introducing himself he then launched into a barrage of questions about my age group, what type of loft insulation I had, how was the loft accessed, etc, etc. He then went on to state that because of my age I was eligible for a free loft inspection, which normally cost £65.00. Blatently obvious that this was a cold call from a private company so declined his offer, hung up & blocked the number.

If leave till my ansaphone kicks in, get automated message making out that I've rung them. Marking them as dangerous and annoying.
