Keeps ringing but leaving no voice message - sales cold calling

Reported to ofcom and trading standards. 10 calls in two days. ?Mortgage Advice Service?. Tried to tell me that I need to get a new mortgage right now or I would end up in ?10,000+ worth of debt due to my current mortgage. However I rent my home - I have never had a mortgage, have never even enquires about one, and no intention to get one. This is police officers radio which goes point to point into landline hence the number. Its from there radio handset and its a set number.

Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

Found out it s a timeshare cold call based in Tenerife. What they actually do is speak as if they are talking to someone else saying I can t hear anyone on the other end of the line, eventually put the phone down and wait for the person to call them back, obviously at their own cost. So be warned and beware.

Wittering on about saving on electricity bills. Sounded like an Indian call centre.
