This caller rang three times today and because I did not recognize no I did not pick up. Tried to ring it back & number was not recognized = unobtainable it must therefore be very dubious

They phoned me in January, February, March, April and today 1st of May 2018 ! lol Problem been their phoning an old dead number of mine, calls are logged (recorded) and any txt messages are forwarded to my new number. No web link or virus can be transferred to my new mobile yawn. Some times I miss the thrill of having to fight a virus on the old mobile "NOT" lol The old sim is NOT even in a mobile phone. Apparently calling on behalf of O2 as I am due an upgrade! O2 have no idea who they are. Checked their company website www.thephonespot.com and the people on phone haven t even got a clue of the phone number on the website!

30 Oct 2021 - I just got a call saying it was royal mail with a package with unpaid for postage. I asked where it had been sent from and she couldn’t tell me when I said I’d leave it she hung up. Definite scam. Reply

Get CPR CallBlocker for less than ?40, it stops pretty well anything; overseas, unavailable, withheld, private & any displayed numbers too. With capacity for over 1000 numbers it s far better than registering with TPS or such useless companies.

Dodgy sounding call to my mobile

Rang off as soon as I answered. Will be reporting number to Ofcom.

Lady called stating I had a recent car accident blah. Asked her how she got my number. She stated they got it from the Road Traffic Accident Claim Department. I said I d never heard of it. Was it a Government department. Long silent pauses at the other end. Repeatedly asked her to spell the name of her company. She rang off. Surprise surprise. Funnily enough I had been speaking to my insurance company (Covea) only 30 mins before asking how these scumbags get my mobile number. They don t know!
