SCAM 07711516794 Recorded male computer generated voice: apparently my national insurance number or was it security number has to be suspended as it’s been used in some fraudulent something or other......I hung up obviously.
I just received a call from this number, 07900787794 automated call saying my national insurance number has been compromised. I am presuming this is a scam. I just hung up and blocked. If it was a real number they would have left a message.

Apparently, my Internet connection is unsecure and they are calling to tell me they will disconnect in 4hrs. When challenged - the lady caller wanted me to push combination of keys on keyboard but by this time I was so frustrated that she hung up because I must have sounded rude. She wanted to show me why/how my connection was insecure. -Didn't give her the chance - being described the CTRL / ALT / DELETE buttons as though I'm a child is not acceptable. Fraud? This was an automated voice message saying it was from BT and that they were going to disconnect my land line and internet due to suspicious activity. I hung up on it and blocked the contact to my mobile.

I suspect it s a fishing exercise to gather info we may seem to think is harmless but gives clues to passwords bank details and so on the first question was who do I bank with and do I bank online I am deeply suspicious of anyone asking about any of my financial details unsolicited as banks don t call asking my details so no-one else should either

This caller claims to be calling from BT Openreach stating that someone tried has changed the IP address of my computer. The caller is highly argumentative and continued to try and push a false narrative, even though I made them aware I knew it was a scam. I hung up, blocked the number and reported it to BT.
