On second reading - definitely - it is one digit short to be a genuine UK number.
Called to advise me I needed a pension review. Incorrect and out of date information given by them, called using a number I ve never given out to anyone as its in a device with voice calls forwarded to my other phone. Divulged private details without authentication. Definitely sounds like a scam.

Just received recorded "urgent message about my pension - could be entitled to £1000!! press 5 to claim or 9 to unsubscribe" - DON T DO IT, DON T PRESS ANYTHING, JUST HANG UP. This is the third time they have called my number, called back this time but number is blocked - surprise surprise!

I am registered with TPS and would never consider buying from a company that refuses to respect that request for privacy. Apart from anything else, a lack of respect for the law in this one respect suggests they may be less than law abiding in others (e.g. building regulations!). Reports on other "nuisance call" sites confirm this firm is best avoided.
Recorded message saying unlawful deduction from Visor card. Obvious scam. Google search says phone number belongs to McGregor's Signs Ltd which is curious.
Had a call from a guy today asking me about the accident I have had recently. My answer was " *sigh* I have never had an accident" He very quickly hung up on me
A foreign sounding man introduced himself as John Parker and said I was due for refund of bank charges. I gave him my dob (I recently claimed charges and for a second thought it was genuine.)I would never give bank details and said so. I just said Lloyds bank(not true).He said his boss will phone me today. They called this morn and I didn t answer. Dreading the phone ringing now and worried giving my dob was a dangerous thing. SCAM Had a number of calls recently offering a new iPhone. I don't use or like Apple products so they are wasting their time. 2 calls yesterday from 01208 247201 - missed the 1st, but they rang again withing seconds. As suspected, another iPhone scam call. That block of numbers is owned by Franzcom Telecoms in Bodmin, Cornwall. Something needs to be done to prevent these foreign scammers spoofing UK telephone numbers.
