Rang today asking for Mrs Badmore . When I advised they had the wrong number the man got very cross saying he knew he didn t have the wrong number. Then he started to say that the reason for his call was to say that he loved me/her (Mrs Badmore). I said that if that was the case he d know her first name and put the phone down. Idiot.
Recorded message saying I had been lucky in a draw. I hung up and blocked the number at that point.

The girl called 'Kate' mentioned my business name and said she found me via facebook. There was a lot of background noise. Sounded like a call centre but can't be sure. I was cagey on the phone as I was not expecting the call and unfortunately am very aware of prank calls. Called seemingly to confirm delivery details and then discussed the extended warranty as though it was free and asked me to confirm bank details. I was uncomfortable doing so over the phone so he provided lots more info about me but I then said I d prefer to at least discuss with my partner before signing up: cue the hard sell! I maintained I will discuss it and can can call back only for him to get exasperated and put the phone down on me. Quite rude!
