I have been repeatedly called on my cellphone from this number, no message left at any time. Have ignored because I don t know anyone in Alton, Hampshire. Phoned the number back from a private landline and got a voice mail message saying "the person at extension 251 is unavailable, please leave your name..." etc. Very annonying!

SCAM. Another call from what seems to be a call centre in Manchester. Soon as you answer the call is cut off. Probably to see if line is still active. In the last month I have had 20 calls from the same area but different numbers. I've logged this as a scam because if itwas genuine the caller would have answered or left a message. I do not know this #.

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

I gave them my name, dob and address as they requested it to confirm their details. I became suspicious when they asked for my bank sort code and account no so they could amend the direct debit. I got several calls a day from this number whilst abroad. Didn t answer as I didn t recognize the number and is there was an emergency from some sort they would have left a voice mail. Just googled the number and here I am, seems I m not the only one getting these annoying calls. Hope they stop one day as i will never answer.
