I have had 6+ calls from this number to my mobile, some dropping out immediately, but they appear to be pursuing hearing loss claims. I have asked for my number to be removed on several occisions, but so far with no apparent success.

Claiming to have reports that i'd been involved in an accident - clearly a scam.

Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I get a call at least twice a week and I m sure it s the same company as well but I ve never had ppi claim thing, but when you call the number back it says something about claiming a delayed holiday fight. Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn t my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn t had an accident, she hung up on me.
