I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. This number has called me several times now, and every time I answer it cuts off!!

Was called at 4.15pm on Sunday and a message was left that consisted of a full 5 minutes exactly of white noise.

the police should put a stop to these people ..especially as thy require bank details .and dont even sound professional .be aware of calls from this number ..

caller said my debit card had been used to send £600 abroad and press 1 if it was not me who had carried out the transaction.

Noticed a missed call from this number on an old mobile I d only recently put a brand new SIM into. This phone has never been used to make calls anywhere so either Tesco Mobile have started re-issuing old numbers or the calling company are chancers.

Calls several times a day, every day. Whenever I answer the line goes dead so unable to identify the caller.

Unknown caller telephoning a TPS registered private number and failing to leave a message. Presumably an illicit sales call or a scammer.

Some policy review company. They are very rude. Have been calling every day for the last how many weeks. Keep telling them to remove me from their database and they just hang up and then ring the next day!!!
