This phone number is a scam, claiming to be Microsoft support. They may ask to remote onto your computer to "fix problems", and they may come up with an excuse to charge you for something, thus tricking you into handing over your card details.

Got 4 calls from this number today and a few yesterday as well. When I answered they said they were from frank gallo solicitors looking at claiming back from companies who had been lending unfairly. Knew my name and address but stopped it before I confirmed.

SCAM This number is after your money. It called me and an automated voice comes in and tells you that large sums of money are being taken from your Amazon account. someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.

My number is telephone preference system (TPS) and therefore this company - or any others like it - should not be calling - this was a 'fishing' call. Callers' name was 'Joe' - male, said he was 'an energy advisor'. End of call. Don't call again, Joe, you might get my husband next time and he is nowhere near as polite as I am.
