The asian caller said my router was telling them that my computer was running slow. Said he was from openreach. ALWAYS ASIAN ORIGIN CALLERS

Automated message to say that my internet compromised press 1 etc. Didnt press anything

I am registered with TPS and received an incoming call. The number is now blocked on my mobile, but they will simply change the incoming number to something else in a month or so. My list of blocked numbers is now around 40, a lot of those being duplicated by the same companies. They need to be regulated against, but when you can visit sites that provide a service telling you if a mobile phone is switched on or not (meaning that the mobile operators are selling this information) what hope do we have!?

This is a timeshare type company making offers that seem too good to be true, and you know what they say about things that appear to be too good to be true!!! When you ask to be removed from their list they refuse and get abusive. Claims to be from Vodafone, they are now calling me twice a day. I told the last one to s*d off and if I hear from them again I m not renewing my contract.

After a bit of sleuthing I ve found out that this number belongs to Verso Group, a telemarketing company. You can request to have your number removed from their database via [email?protected] or by calling their customer complaints team on 01582 763 090.

Trying to scam money from me

I have had repeated call about 10 per day from the same number, 2 types of calls 1. as per above , that i owe money on credit cards 2. that the government has set up an scheme where they are freezing monthly interest payments on CC or store cards and if you have these cards you can just make a monthly payment to them instead . as i am a financial advisor i keep them talking for ages (appearing to be a bit non financial) after all it runs up their phone bill, then i wrap them in knots using my knowledge,

called me twice a day. Finally answered. INSURE "Were you involved in vehicle damage and winsh to make a claim?. ANOTHER QUICK BUCKS COMPANY. IGNORE!!

When calling back the number to find out who it is caller systems will say number not found or will take you back to the dial tone.

Oddly configured phone number. Probably one of those virtual geographic phone numbers. Rejected by my Call Blocker phone. Now permanently blocked.
