Said they were from Amazon and £49.99 had been spent on my account I told them I didn't have an amazon account and they just hung up on me! How rude!!
Recorded message about my NHS number being involved in some sort of crime. This is blatantly a scam as the number has been with me the whole time and has no previous record of this sort of behaviour.
Tried to ask about my (non-existent) life insurance, but couldn't even tell me my address, just the street name.

Got a LOT of calls from this number but it turns out my letting agents had told Virgin Media we were moving and they were trying to contact us to sort that out! Was given a new customer deal again which knocked off £20 a month. The person I dealt with was really lovely too. TL:DR it's safe!

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. I blocked the number using my CPR Callblocker gadget (there are many alternatives). I pay for my phone, it s for me, what gives anyone other than me the right to use it to harass me? Received call on mobile about my so called accident that I didn't have!
The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.
01892710579 -Claimed to be my local energy advisor and that I was responsible for the bills. They called my work number which I do not give out to businesses, also the classic pause before he introduced himself which is a sign they are using automated calling software, illegal in the UK.

RSPB t.v. advert says text for a free info. leaflet, then when you do, this number calls, never leaves a message, or calls and then hangs-up before you can answer - is a nusance,if you can get the info. leaflet online you d be safer.
