Just had a very shady call, would only speak to the owner. Did some digging and found this warning on facebook: *ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESSES* Had a call from this company earlier today, trying to sell me advertising space on GP surgery appointment cards... My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! I m not but want to put this out there for everyone else.

Received several missed calls. Today I got a text message as if the message had come from 02. Really annoying.

Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Columbia.

It's a scam

Another nuisance intruder call. Folks this is recorded as a firm in Greater Manchester with whom general public are very unlikely to have any dealings. BEWARE OF GIVING THEM YOU...

they called dozens of time. asking for information that could provide a security / data risk.
