Number belongs to an employee from Retro Consulting AKA Unique Client Solutions, a dodgy marketing company based in Nottingham & Sheffield who post misleading job adverts which make it look like you could be going into a good sales job with a career path when in fact it s commission only with no minimum wage.
asked for me by name and had details of an old card that I had used. Stated from GoGuardian - an app to stop cold callers. Informed him I had TPS and that was not stopping them. Got a raised voice response. TPS let calls in from unused numbers and mostly from overseas. Told him not free to talk, then checked on line.. Number relates to a restaurant in Weston Super Mare. So ihe was talking a load of crap. When are these scammers going to give up.

Wanted £200 to fix, as our Mcafee didn't cover "network". Said we'd call back and given this number. Subsequently checked with Currys who support some of our tech who confirmed it's a scam

They will say you have outstanding tax due and try and get a payment from you over the phone.. they will even send emails with fake letters from the revenue to back there case. SCAM / SPAM - Answered the call and got a ringing tone as if I had made the call. Someone with Northern accent asked me about Life Insurance, but I think it was pre-recorded. I responded, but didn't get an answer. Then it occured to me that, due to the ringing tone, they might somehow have engineered a way for me to be paying for the call so I hung up and blocked the number.
