SCAM Automated message stating a criminal investigation is lodged against you for Tax evasion. I ended the call half way through the message.
Phoned this afternoon. An automated voice declared that it was a call from "security at your bank", so at least the scammer doesn't even know which bank he is supposed to pretend to be. Allegedly, two probably fraudulent card transactions had been detected, one for £300 to Amazon and one of a transfer abroad of £1,100. A menu of options was read out, at which point I hung up.

Suspecting fake supplier. We contacted him through a vacation rentals' booking platform to book a villa on the 5th of February in order to book for the 10th. On the 6th he writes to us: "Hello, unfortunately we can't accommodate you because the villa was double booked." This is so unfair! The availability back then allowed to book the property with no problems. He hasn't even refunded us the money. We suspect a scam owner.

The number was in an email which said it was from a friend (who I've not been in contact with for years) , asking for "help", but it was very much like another email I had just received from someone else saying he was a friend but that was spam. This is probably a cloned number! I received call from this number on my landline. It was a scam call (live not recorded) purporting to be from BT internet about my internet line. I do not subscribe to any BT products, therefore considered it to be a scam. Could hear background noise as per a call centre.
