I answered this call and the lady on the other end said she was calling from OVO Energy, as it appeared as a mobile number I didn t trust or believe her and ended the call!!!! I ve now blocked the number!!!!

Probably building to a scam, claimed to be BT a UK telephone provider investigating illegal activity on my internet, when I inquired as to who might be doing illegal things the caller suggested probably foreigners! Telemarketing Claimed to be from Ideal World. I made an order for my mother from Ideal World some time ago, when I said that and she was not available the caller put the phone down, not very polite.

Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.
