Probably building to a scam, claimed to be BT a UK telephone provider investigating illegal activity on my internet, when I inquired as to who might be doing illegal things the caller suggested probably foreigners! The call was made at 7am in the morning to a private number, land line and one only known to family members.

Bank Scammers. Telling me that £600 had been sent abroad from my Debit card. If I sent the money, press 2, if i Did not send the money, press 1. I put down the phone, went to my local bank and asked them to check. No money had been taken or removed or sent. Dangerous for someone who gets involved speaking to these scum.

Received a call from this number today, automated voice claiming to be from Amazon to confirm a membership fee of 79.99 has been removed from my account! Total FRAUD and SCAM! This number was 1 of many "001312" commencing numbers which have call for this activity!

SCAM Left a voicemail which starts halfway through a computer voice saying something about my number has been found ‘suspicious for a number of illegal activities’. ‘It’s very time sensitive and urgent that we hear back from you before we proceed further with suspension of your national insurance number, your assets and arrest you. Please press 1 to speak to an officer, I repeat, press 1 to speak with an officer. Thank you’.

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!

I was getting calls from this number daily. I blocked it and then started getting calls from 0121 389 0867. This is blocked and suspect it ll switch to another very similar number. Just keep blocking.

Caller (male, strong Indian sub-continent accent) said he was from the Debt Advisory Department, and was calling to advise me about clearing my debts faster. Worryingly, he addressed me by my full name which I do not normally disclose or use.

100% FRAUD! They left me a voicemail, quoting a DHL import duty invoice that I paid 3 weeks ago. I called them, spoke to 'RAJU' - he knew all about me, my company and my invoice, but said don't worry as you've already paid. This is obviously someone at DHL leaking account details to fraudsters, who are preying on people who don't know/remember that they've already paid. 'Lady' called to say she was from VISA & my card subject to misuse with total £1400 being taken (?) & to "Press 1" to speak to someone there to prevent funds being taken. Seems like a scam, so I rang the number direct & got through to someone who just slammed phone down. Fishy !!
