Phoned me twice this morning on my mobile and hung up on me, a pain when your busy doing gardening and DIY.
SCAM - offering mobile phone deal, citing Carphone warehouse. I contacted Carphone Warehouse, they confirmed it was a scam.
SCAM Recorded message saying my internet is going to be disconnected and to press #1 to speak my my internet provider. Nothing in the recording identifies the internet provider or me as a customer. Clearly a scam attempt.

Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. An automated computer call to test if the connection is a voice line, if you speak your number will be listed and you'll be called back by an agent - who will usually be trying to SCAM YOU. SOLUTION: Whenever the phone rings with a number you don't recognise DON'T SAY HELLO OR MAKE ANY OTHER SOUND! Always wait for the caller to speak first. If the line hangs up you can be certain it was a scam. STAY SAFE - Don't accept or respond to unsolicited calls.

Claimed to be calling from O2, Indian call centre. Offering a 40% discount off my next bill, but could not tell me the name of the account holder. Hung up when I asked who he wanted to speak to. Said he'd send 2 text messages for me to activate the discount!!!!! Why if he was from O2, and I was with O2 he'd have my details and could active the discount automatically. Block this number.

SCAM Do not pass anything, Do not answer, it's an automated answer machine. Saying your Vodafone will be out of service, press for English or Chinese. Then speaks Chinese. I automatically hanged up without pressing anything due to me not being with Vodafone and all of it sounded so weird, fake and scam. DO NOT ANSWER NOR PASS ANYTHING

I received a text on this number claiming that I had missed a delivery from Fedex. The website address I was supposed to link to looked suspicious and when I checked online didn't match anything on the official Fedex site. Since I am not expecting a delivery I assume that this is a scam.

An automated message comes up saying the call is from HM Revenue & Customs, gives you a case file number, and says if you ignore the call, you will face legal applications. Then asks you to press 1 to speak to an adviser. The advisor distantly says she is calling from the HMRC and asks for your name. When I asked her where are you calling from again, she hung up.
