I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!

having repeated calls from these, yes I do owe them money at the moment, but after years of paying without any problems this is the first time I have been one payment behind. Said they were wanting information so they would tell me how much PPI I was owed. Wanted my borrowing history over 15 years. They asked me security questions but I kept saying I didn t know who there were and not happy to give out personal information. Conversation kept going in circles as they couldn t give me answers I wanted. Called me Mrs which has never been my status!

Don't stay on the phone, these people are ppi parasites after s**kling money from you.
