Caller who sounded Indian said she was from the telephone preference service and calling to say it had expired as - she was just getting to this - the bank card used had expired. She first asked how the telephone bill was paid. As the service is free I rang off.

SCAM - Claimed to be from Sky Broadband & hung up when challenged. It's possible the phone number is being hijacked as there were obvious 'internet phone' type delays in the conversation.

I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Just been called from this number - thought it was a real human at first, but then realised it was some sort of semi-automated system, pretending to interact with my replies. Claiming to be Injury Claim Law - they have an interesting website, which contains a number of spelling mistakes, so doubt they are anything other than a bunch of low life ambulance chasing chancers!
I just received a call from this number at my phone. When I picked up an automated voice said to call Victor asap. WTF? After searching the internet, I found this number to belong to a debt collection agency called Zinc. Not sure why they are calling me as I have no debts.

Very similar to everyone else. Had a phone call saying that I was wanted for Tax avoidance and that they were issuing a warrant out for my arrest if I didn?t pay. Seeing as my tax is paid through PAYE I know there?s no issue with my tax. However the tone in which the call is made is quite aggressive if someone is not used to this kind of con. Promptly put phone down.

Scam - Robotic voice recording claiming to be from British Telecom advising my telephone line about to be disconnected, that I should return the call right away. I did not return the call.
Cold call. If needed I would seek, stop calling.
Calls numerous times a week. When they are diverted to screen calling they hang up.
Missed call. Correlating the time and date past calls from this number suggests it's the Just Eat delivery service. However, in December 2021 I received two missed calls from this number even though I hadn't ordered anything that day.

Fraud Call claimed to checking on possible fraudulent payments from a bank card (one to Amazon, and one international), and inviting me to press 1 to continue. But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.
