Went to voicemail so only caught half the message as it was prerecorded, mentioned HMRC... Something about "registered under your name, press 1 and your call will be connected to the officer dealing with the case if you don't press on the warrant will be issued under your name and you will be arrested shortly." Really unnerving! Not like my nerves are not already in tatters dealing with the pandemic and potential job-loss.

SCAM Amazon call. Phoned the number back and it was a private number. Spoke to a lady who it was nothing to do with. Looks like these scammers are now now using peoples private numbers for the id that comes up on the phone.
Received a call, foreign voice said ringing about accident I d had. They managed to get my name, address and accident details and sent me an email which they wanted me to open and click on the attachment to provide authority for them to send out documents for me to claim compensation. I told them I didn t need to claim compensation as only very minor whip lash, however they were very insistent saying that didn t matter and I was entitled to £3000 compensation. Yet another silent phone call from ?? Been receiving lots of these phone calls recently
They called me today asking for my wife, said they had details of a loan she d taken out that had been passed on to them, I pressed for details and they gave some details of a loan she hasn t taken out. She said the company was BPI Claim Line and are part of another company (couldn t make out the name) and they re regulated by the Ministry of Justice. She hung up on me when I pressed her for the company name that they were part of.
