A text apparently from HSBC saying a payment was attempted from a new device, if this wasn’t me, go online to hs-payee-bankingonline-supportalert.com/login/. I didn’t open the link. Not only that, it’s a company credit card and they don’t have my personal telephone number. So obviously a scam.

I missed the call but then the number 07775555028 sent me a text message to say "Voicemail message received 10:34 on 13th Jul. Duration 6s. Click or call 22215 to hear this message at your normal call rate." which all seems very scammy. The number 22215 was linked so I wouldn't say its safe to click it. Best cold call ever. I answered, I was asked for by name and I asked who was calling. The fella said AMS Legal so I said I m not interested and put the phone down. They called back straight away and straight off the same person said what are you not insterested in? - I laughed and said are you for real to which he replied yes, very much and you ll never know about the opportunity that you ve just missed out on and hung up. SCAM The guy calls and says the warranty on my 13 year old machine is expiring today and as its still in woorking order, they have an offer from £12pm to £9pm... I didnt even have warranty on the machine. I hung up the call, he calls back and says : Are you feeling alright? I asked him, ARE YOU FEELING ALRIGHT? and hung up on the c*** again. SCAMMERS, BLADY SCAMMERS.
I bought a car from Bayliss Motors of Cheltenham and this was just a courtesy call. I didn't recognise the number so I checked it out before calling back. No problem.

It seems to be the start of the open pest phone calls season - I haven t answered the phone for 3 years now and have a peaceful life - except for the phone ringing. Why does the government not make this constant harassment illegal? Freedom of speech is OK to a certain extent as we have seen in recent years religious pests but surely the recipient is entitled to a quite life.

I had one called ruby (again indian sounding), my washing machine warranty was ending, let her go through all the spiel re cost etc, after shed finished I said I will take the highest cost one, but on one condition... tada, drum roll..... she tell e her real indian name and where in india she was based.. but, but, but lol,,, then as she kept speaking, i kept talking over her asking her indian name and where in india she was based and that it was a scam. she then told me to shut up then hung up on me :(
