I had a call from a woman with an Indian accent on this number purporting to be from Virgin Media, saying there were error messages coming up on my Internet connection. I told them I wasn't the account holder and asked who they wanted to speak to. They then said that they understood I was the account holder. I asked them to name the person they wanted to speak to. The line went dead at that point, funnily enough. Definitely a scam.

Advertising Scams. Try to get you to place ads on non existent magazines etc. Pretend to record calls so do not agree to anything. Used to use withheld numbers but now resorting to mobiles to get round call blocking.

This number is becoming a dangerous nuisance. Surely these people know when they call us the number they call is into a direct Trauma Centre. Then to hang up and for a member of staff to use precious time trying to make a contact in case it may be life threatening is even more annoying. We can understand how the general public feel with some of these stupid UNLAWFUL calls from these people are made.
